The Pond Empress is made from polymer clay, hand painted with acrylic paint and finished with a hard resin to give strength and shine. Her accessories are made from a variety of mediums including different types of clay, paper maché, wire, glass, fabric and more. Her body is ball jointed to be able to pose her in multiple different ways.

She comes with a stand to display her upright
as well as a throne inspired by a New England lily pond.
Her accessories also include a robe that can be taken off ,
4 hair pins to pin her braids up
A “pond water” cocktail
A dragonfly nymph companion that can also be worn as a cuff on her arms or legs
A “moss covered” basin with a reversible lid
And a piece of rose quartz

Many parts are made with magnets. These include :
Her stand which holds her up by the small of her back
The pond water cocktail
Both palms of her hands to be able to hold the cocktail
One of the water lily “sepals”
And the lid of the basin

Doing this creates multiple ways you can place her drink down depending on how you want to pose her.

My dolls are made for display but I also make them with the intention that they will be interacted with.
So give them love, pose them, make up a whole back story for them! They are not so delicate that they need to stay behind glass but they are also not intended for young children.
